FAI: No data leaked in cyber attack

The FAI says no data was extracted from its servers when its Abbottstown headquarters was hit by a cyber attack on the June bank holiday weekend.

Forensic experts discovered malware on a payroll server, but the Association told staff this evening no information was leaked.

In a statement, the FAI said there is no evidence its other computer systems were affected by the hack.

It adds no payment details had been stolen from its payment server for ticket sales.
