Latest Ian Bailey extradition hearing due to begin

Ian Bailey’s latest extradition hearing is due get underway today.

He is wanted by authorities in France after being convicted, in his absence, of killing Sophie Toscan du Plantier over 20 years ago.

Her body was found outside her holiday home in west Cork in 1996.

Mr. Bailey, 63, who has always maintained his innocence, was sentenced to 25 years in prison in a court in Paris
