Garda Linda Lyons testified that she arrested Oliver Clair, 38, of Sheepwalk, Dungourney, Co Cork, and charged him with breaching the protection order last Thursday. The charge stated that he allegedly breached a protection order by telling his ex-partner, in a phone call, that if he saw her at a particular place again, “I don’t know what I’m going to do to you”.

Inspector Adrian Gamble told Judge Olann Kelleher there was no objection to the accused being released on bail.

However, a condition was put on Clair’s bail requiring him to have no contact directly or indirectly with the complainant in the case.
