Chief executive and majority shareholder Richard Colwell said: “We have seen double-digit revenue growth for each of the past five years, including last year.”
He added that, in the current financial year, which ran up to the end of May, “we will also see further revenue growth, although possibly not into double digits.”
Newly filed accounts for Red C Research & Marketing Ltd show that as of the end of last June the firm’s accumulated profits stood at just over €1.7m.
However, the net profit for the year dipped from €181,883 to €167,307.
The firm — owned by its senior directors — was formed 13 years ago and Mr Colwell said: “We believe we are now the largest full-service market research agency in Ireland.”
He added that Red C plans to grow its workforce, which currently numbers 50 permanent staff and 70 to 150 part-time employees.
“We see significant opportunities to deliver more customer insights into the heart of business decision-making, to businesses based both in Ireland and across the world,” said Mr Colwell.
“The challenge to our business is to remain at the forefront of data storytelling and consultancy, in order to help our clients understand and make sense of an ever increasing level of available data sources.”
The polling company has also just opened a UK office in a joint venture with two senior research consultants who have experience in that market.
